Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup creamy Jif peanut butter
  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cream the butter and sugars together in a large bowl until light and fluffy, then mix in peanut butter.
  • Add the egg and vanilla, blending just until combined.
  • Stir in the flour, baking soda, and salt, mixing on low until no streaks of flour remain.
  • Shape dough into tablespoon-sized balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Press down lightly with a fork in a crisscross pattern.
  • Bake for 10–12 minutes until the edges are just golden. Cool for 2 minutes on the sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
