  • Mixing bowl
  • Spatula
  • Tongs or slotted spoon
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Paper towels or clean kitchen towels

Ingredients

  • 8 large flour tortillas
  • 2 cups prepared cheesecake filling
  • 4 oz softened cream cheese optional, for extra richness
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar or cinnamon sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon optional
  • Vegetable or canola oil for frying

(Optional) Fruit sauce or caramel drizzle for topping

Instructions

  • Set Up: Preheat your oil to 350°F (175°C) in a deep skillet.
  • Blend Filling: In a bowl, mix the cheesecake filling with optional cream cheese until smooth. Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • Assemble Tortillas: Place a few tablespoons of filling in the center of each tortilla. Fold and roll burrito-style, sealing edges with water if needed.
  • Fry: Gently place each filled tortilla into the hot oil. Fry until golden-brown, about 1–2 minutes per side.
  • Drain: Remove and place on paper towels to soak up excess oil.
  • Serve: Dust with sugar or cinnamon sugar, then garnish with sauce or whipped cream.

Notes

You can use store-bought cheesecake filling for convenience or whip up your own for more control over sweetness and flavor. Avoid adding pork-based or alcoholic ingredients to keep the recipe accessible to a wide range of dietary preferences.
